Our jewelry is water resistant in the sense that it will not break if it comes into contact with water. However, regular contact with water can speed up oxidation and can make gold plating wear down faster.
If your jewellery gets wet, gently dry it afterwards and polish it when needed.
Please note that worn down gold plating is part of natural wear and is not covered by warranty.

Water, sweat, friction, perfume, creams and cleaning products can speed up the natural oxidation process of 925 Sterling Silver. For gold plated pieces, they can also make the gold layer wear down faster over time. This is normal wear and, for gold plated pieces, cannot be reversed.
If your jewelry gets wet or you have been sweating while wearing it, gently dry it with a soft cloth afterwards. This helps your ruru. pieces stay shiny, cared for and ready for your next look.
925 Sterling Silver means that the material contains 92.5% real silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver is very soft, so this mix makes the jewelry more stable and suitable for delicate designs. The other metals used in our sterling silver do not contain nickel.
Most ruru. pieces are made from Recycled 925 Sterling Silver and are either rhodium plated or gold plated, depending on the design.
Sterling silver can naturally oxidise over time. This means that it can become darker or show small oxidation marks. That is completely normal and can usually be removed with regular polishing and gentle care.
To keep your jewelry beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend taking it off before showering, swimming, sleeping or doing sports. Water, sweat, perfume and creams can speed up oxidation and can also affect gold plating over time.

Real sterling silver does not permanently change colour. It can oxidise, which means it may become darker over time, but this is a natural reaction and can usually be cleaned or polished away.
With gold plated jewelry, the gold layer can wear down over time and the silver underneath may become visible. With good care and mindful wear, your gold plated ruru. pieces can stay beautiful for many years.
Yes, you have 14 days to try your jewelry at home and return it if it does not fit your style. Returned pieces must be unused and in new condition. If there are visible signs of wear, we unfortunately cannot accept the return.

Yes, ruru. offers a 2 year warranty on production issues or defects that can be repaired.
Scratches, signs of wear and worn down gold plating are not covered by warranty, as they are part of normal wear.
