Our jewelry is water resistant in the sense that it will not break if it comes into contact with water. However, regular contact with water can speed up oxidation and can make gold plating wear down faster.
If your jewellery gets wet, gently dry it afterwards and polish it when needed.
Please note that worn down gold plating is part of natural wear and is not covered by warranty.
If your ruru. necklace has been in contact with sweat around your neck, a soft cloth and lukewarm water are usually enough to remove everyday residue. Gently wipe the necklace and dry it well afterwards with a clean, soft cloth.
For finer spaces, an ultrasonic cleaner can help remove dirt more thoroughly. If your sterling silver necklace has oxidised or looks darker over time, a silver bath can help bring back its shine when used correctly.

925 Sterling Silver means that the material contains 92.5% real silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver is very soft, so this mix makes the jewelry more stable and suitable for delicate designs. The other metals used in our sterling silver do not contain nickel.
Most ruru. pieces are made from Recycled 925 Sterling Silver and are either rhodium plated or gold plated, depending on the design.
Sterling silver can naturally oxidise over time. This means that it can become darker or show small oxidation marks. That is completely normal and can usually be removed with regular polishing and gentle care.
To keep your jewelry beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend taking it off before showering, swimming, sleeping or doing sports. Water, sweat, perfume and creams can speed up oxidation and can also affect gold plating over time.

Yes, you have 14 days to try your jewelry at home and return it if it does not fit your style. Returned pieces must be unused and in new condition. If there are visible signs of wear, we unfortunately cannot accept the return.
