Our jewelry is water resistant in the sense that it will not break if it comes into contact with water. However, regular contact with water can speed up oxidation and can make gold plating wear down faster.
If your jewellery gets wet, gently dry it afterwards and polish it when needed.
Please note that worn down gold plating is part of natural wear and is not covered by warranty. -
925 Sterling Silver means that the material contains 92.5% real silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver is very soft, so this mix makes the jewelry more stable and suitable for delicate designs. The other metals used in our sterling silver do not contain nickel.

Sterling silver can naturally oxidise over time. This means that it can become darker or show small oxidation marks. That is completely normal and can usually be removed with regular polishing and gentle care.
To keep your jewelry beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend taking it off before showering, swimming, sleeping or doing sports. Water, sweat, perfume and creams can speed up oxidation and can also affect gold plating over time.

Please note that our earrings are not made for freshly pierced ears. For softer areas like the earlobe, we recommend waiting 1 to 2 months before changing your jewelry. For cartilage piercings like helix or conch, we recommend waiting at least 6 months or following your piercer’s advice.Our jewelry is made from sterling silver or gold plated or rhodium plated sterling silver. Fresh piercings are often fitted with titanium jewelry first, as it is usually very gentle while the piercing is healing.

Real sterling silver does not permanently change colour. It can oxidise, which means it may become darker over time, but this is a natural reaction and can usually be cleaned or polished away.
With gold plated jewelry, the gold layer can wear down over time and the silver underneath may become visible. With good care and mindful wear, your gold plated ruru. pieces can stay beautiful for many years.

Yes, you have 14 days to try your jewelry at home and return it if it does not fit your style. Returned pieces must be unused and in new condition. If there are visible signs of wear, we unfortunately cannot accept the return.

Yes, ruru. offers a 2 year warranty on production issues or defects that can be repaired.
Scratches, signs of wear and worn down gold plating are not covered by warranty, as they are part of normal wear.
